Details

The "Integrated Chains" by Kryptonite follow a safety-relevant approach. The link chain is directly connected to the locking cylinder and is thus no longer an external part. The advantage is obvious: There's no real target for thieves, which increases safety.

Habe das Schloss im August 24 gekauft. Eindruck sehr stabil.
Das der Schlüssel nach dem Öffnen nicht im Schloss verbleibt ist unpraktisch, genauso, dass er beim Verriegeln betätigt werden muss. Ist aber akzeptabel.
Nicht akzeptabel finde ich allerdings, dass die Schließmechanik bereits nach zwei Monaten zu hakeln begann und nun nicht mehr funktioniert.

Das Schloss wurde vor ca. einem halben Jahr gekauft. Es ist sehr robust und es hat bisher relativ gut gehalten.

Leider hat sich eine Niete der Stoffummantelung gelöst, so dass die Kette teilweise frei liegt und dadurch den Lack am Rahmen beschädigen kann.

Viel nerviger ist allerdings, dass selbst zum Abschließen der Schlüssel betätigt werden muss. Das ist bei anderen Schlössern teilw. nicht nötig, da diese von selbst verriegeln (Schnappmechanismus). Das ist zum schnellen Abstellen des Fahrrads nervig.

Dazu kommt, dass der Mechanismus mit dem Scheibenschloss etwas frickelig ist und der Gummischutz für das Kettenende so verrutscht, dass das Abschließen erschwert wird.

Das Schloss mag zwar sehr sicher sein, aber hier geht die Sicherheit klar auf Kosten der einfachen Handhabung. Für den Preis ein gutes Schloss, aber ich werde mich nach einer besseren Alternative umsehen.

Dieses Schloss macht sofort einen sehr soliden Eindruck: Stabil, sehr harter Stahl, robuste Mechanik, die Schließ- Schlossmechanik ist in einem bulligen "Safe" verkapselt, für potentielle "Schwarzfahrer" eine gro0e Herausforderung.

Das Schloss ist robust und dennoch beweglich genug, um es durch die Speichen des Rades zu bewegen. Das Schloss kommt mit zwei Schlüsseln und der Hersteller Kryptonite ersetzt den ersten verlorenen Schlüssel kostenfrei, sofern man sich auf der Website des Herstellers registriert hat. Leider haben die Schlüssel keine integrierte Taschenlampe. Auch sind die Schlüssel im Schloss etwas hakelig. Hier muss man mit etwas Gefühl das Schloss aufschließen. Kurz und knapp: Ein gutes Schloss für diesen Preis.
